Philip Galante, along with his wife Ericka of 27 years and 2 children Jordan and Zion, have been attending Calvary Baptist Church for 13 years and has served the body of Christ in different capacities for 11 years.
He currently serves as Shepherd of small groups, he serves in the marriage enrichment ministry, is a part of the Spanish Ministry, teaches classes at Calvary and also serves as a Deacon. His heart is for those who may be rejected or frowned upon by society, he has compassion for those in need of mentoring or discipleship, marriages that are going through trials and a heart for the elderly. He embraces the Spanish community and desires to bridge the gap between Hispanic and American cultures in the Church of Christ by sharing the Gospel in both Spanish and English.
He is currently seeking to further his education at Whitefield Theological Seminary, pursuing a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling.
Finally, he understands that character is best proven through trails and suffering and embraces the verse from Philippians 3:10:
” That I may know Christ and the power of his rising from the dead, sharing in his pains and changing {my life} into the form of his death.”
