STAFF AND LEADERSHIP

We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great co-workers and energy always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

  • Lucas parks

    elder/lead pastor

Lucas came to a saving faith in Christ as a young child. As a young adult, God stirred within him a desire for fulltime ministry. In 1994 he married his wife Su and the two began serving God's people together as Lucas completed his Theology Degree from Covington Theological Seminary. In 2005 they moved to Northern Ireland, where Lucas spent his early childhood, to serve as associate pastor in an established church. Over time, God grew the desire in their hearts to plant a church with the mission of introducing people to Jesus, cultivating an environment where lost people could experience Jesus and find friendship in the community of faith. In 2010 Village Church Belfast was planted with Lucas as its lead pastor. After establishing Village Church with a healthy eldership and pastors the Parks returned to the US in 2020, where Lucas served in a transitional role as the Missions Pastor at Foothill Church in Glendora, CA before being called as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church HB in 2023.
