STAFF AND LEADERSHIP

We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship, the love of God, and a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great co-workers and energy always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

  • MIKE HAUGLAND

    PASTOR OF Family ministries

Mike married his high school sweetheart Tiffany at 22 and has been married 20 years and counting. God has blessed them with 7 kids, Michael, Madison, Riley, Kyle, Dylan, Abby, and Olivia. After spending 20 years of working in the secular workplace in title Insurance and financial planning, God called Mike and his family into full–time ministry. Serving as a children’s pastor for 5 years in Orange County prepared and equipped Mike for God’s next call…Youth Pastor. Mike came on staff in September of 2014 here at Calvary Baptist Church. Partnering with parents and equipping them and their kids is Mike’s passion. Creating an engaging environment through mid–week programs, Sunday school and outreach activities for the youth are some of the ways we come alongside the parents to spur their children on to spiritual growth. Being passionate about the Lord is one of the foundations here in youth ministry and Romans 12:11 sums it up well, “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” Amen!

  • Ed Lalonde

Ed holds a degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible College. He and his wife, Robin, have been married for 43 years and have two adult children and six grandchildren. In his free time you will find him running, at the gym lifting, traveling, or playing with his grandchildren.
